This infographic sheds some light on the geographical differences between the results of the real election and the mock election held by grade and high school students. While the map highlight the geographical diveristy of each riding and the political association of the winning candidate, it disproportionately highlights geographically larger ridings with lower population densities. The grid map is an attempt to mitigate this issue while preserving some information about geographical elements.
